Meet the Urban Forestry Fellows, Past and Present:
Current Fellows:
Ashlee Caruana
Ashlee is a sophomore at Rhodes and currently is undecided but is interesting in majoring in environmental studies and a potential minor in anthropology. Working for Dr. Kasper as an Urban Forestry Fellow allows Ashlee to purse her interest in environmental science and learn more about conservation efforts being used in the real world.
Lily Roberts
Lily is a junior double majoring in Environmental Studies and Economics at Rhodes. She is excited to begin work with Dr. Kasper this fall studying urban forests, and researching the social, cultural, and biological factors that have maintained the integrity of the old growth forest in Overton Park for more than two centuries.
